The Rarus Cabin is within hiking distance of high mountain lakes and creeks, the national forest and ghost towns! Creeks are stocked during the summer with Rainbow and Brown Trout. Native Cut Throat Trout are plentifull. All year round, wildlife is plentiful--deer, elk, moose, and more. Miles of backroads in the summer allow access to thousands of acres of public and private hunting grounds.
